Dr. Narendranadh Meda, Organising Chairman and Clinical Director of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at KIMS, highlighted the growing burden of peripheral vascular diseases. He noted that conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, smoking, and sedentary lifestyles are leading causes, often resulting in reduced blood flow to the legs, pain while walking, and non-healing wounds. If left untreated, severe cases may even require amputation.
Such platforms offer more than just theoretical insights—they provide real-world exposure through live demonstrations, case-based discussions, and simulation training, helping doctors stay updated with modern technologies and improve patient outcomes.
